Cyclone Lucy has hit the north of NZ, so outside it's all wind and rain. The wind is whistling around my house, which is in a reasonably sheltered position. I hope not too much damage is being done out there.
It has been really dry lately. But today the water tanks are filling and already the grass looks greener. It's still fairly warm, but I think our days of short sleeved t-shirts and bare feet are numbered. Still, the forecast for next week is good, so I'm not surrendering to thoughts of autumn just yet. And no, these are not autumn leaves that I have just photographed! They are very late summer fallen leaves :)
