It's been so long since I blogged, that I'm feeling a little shy...

The last few months have been wonderfully busy, with all my usual day jobs and many weekends and evenings spent making stock for stores in time for the Christmas sales. But somehow I just lacked that extra energy to blog. I've been reading other peoples blogs from time to time but just didn't manage to attend  to my own. I've written plenty of blogs in my head...but none have got past the 'in head' stage and out into the blogisphere. Do you do that? I'm sure we all do.

Today I've been finishing a  couple of orders, for delivery tomorrow. That means trimming and sticking on stickers. I have a few more cards to make, once I've finished this post, and then a couple of my students will arrive and I'll turn my mind to tutoring English and reading for a couple of hours.

And as I've been sitting at my work table I've been thinking about doing a giveaway in the next week or so. I'll let you know more about that soon. I haven't quite made up my mind what I'll give away :)

On the path leading to my studio a tiny Pine Tree is growing between the cracks in the concrete. I'm thinking another task to do today is to extract it and pot it up, so that I have a living Christmas tree. It is only about 6cm high, but I think it will be my tree this year. I live in a tiny one bedroom cottage so I don't want a huge tree. 6cm might be taking things to the opposite extreme, but I love the idea that my Christmas tree started life so casually it could have been thrown out like a weed, in my own backyard.

I'll let you know about my giveaway very soon...
